Next Meeting February 4, 2025

New Location! – Manny’s Chophouse – 210 HWY 60 – 5:30pm

Please remember February 4, 2025 will be our general meeting. We will be meeting, somewhere new, at Manny’s in Lake Wales, 210 HWY 60. Eating at 5:30pm and meeting at 7:00pm.

Freedom Ride 2025

March 1, 2025 – 10am to 3pm – Coleman Landing at Shady Oaks

We will be addressing Freedom Ride at the upcoming meeting. The Board has done a lot of the planning and we will be looking for volunteers for the day. The event will be on March 1, 2025 from 10am – 3pm at Coleman Landing at Shady Oaks.

Other News

• FAA quarterly and Light It Up Blue will be April 5th. Light It Up Blue will be held at Camp Mack from 2pm to 10pm.
• We had some movement on Catfish Creek and we will report it at the meeting.
• This weekend on February 1st, FSCA will be hosting their annual Outdoor Youth Day from 10am to 3pm at the Everglades Youth Camp. We have a few board members driving down.
• The board recently made decisions to donate money for scholarships, youth camps, youth hunts, and to Save Our Boating Rights. We will have the minutes for anyone who would like to know what’s going on.
